Unmounted Meetings
As of January 2010, we will haveTWO unmounted meetings per month one of which will be held on a weeknight and one on a weekend. All meetings will be
held at the Bourbon County Extension Office, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm unless otherwise noted.

Meeting Structure: Parent/officer/sponsor discussion of BPC business w/agenda. Members will learn Horse Management at each unmounted meeting,
including flowcharts, crafts, props, and/or guest speakers.
Dress Code: khaki shorts or pants, or (nice) jeans, teal or white polo, shoes with closed toes for safety (from time to time we will may introduce live "props"
with hooves), Pony Club pin on lapel, or over breast pocket area.

Mounted Meetings (All info here is the rule unless otherwise noted in regard to a specific date.)

Time: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (This means in the saddle at 2:00 pm, so be sure & plan plenty of time to tack up, go through Safety Check, & be mounted on
time.)

Dress Code: any color breeches/jods, tall boots or paddock boots & 1/2 chaps, teal or white polo, approved helmet, Pony Club pin on lapel or over breast
pocket area, gloves recommended, but not required.

Supplies: hay, water, and "clean-up" tools for ponies (so we can leave the space we borrow in as good or better condition than when we arrived).
