Rally Committee Report for May and June 2010

Rally Entries opened May 1st and closed June 1st.

We received entries from Emma, Sophie, Keely and Kendall for the Tetrathlon,
Ivy, Morgan and Gen for Show jumping and Alyssa and Elizabeth for Dressage.
All entries were mailed on time!

June 13th we shipped into Masterson for our summer camp.
Our numbers were smaller than previous years, but despite the heat, camp appeared to be a success!
We had lots of great instruction (thank you Nori, Linda and Meg) in flatwork, jumping and trail riding.
In the barn we covered jog outs, what to expect at formals, turn backs etc.
Our youngest members worked on their tack and turnout badge.
We also had birthday cupcakes! (Thank you all.)

A few days after camp our Tetrathletes headed back to Masterson for Rally.
Claire and Elizabeth were our C Advisors. They did a great job, taking care of our 4 girls as well as
Faith and Corban from Southern Illinois.
The girls appeared to have a great time and wore the C Advisors out.
Emma came in 8th in the 10 & under division, Kendall came in 9th in the 8 & under, Sophie 6th and
Keely 5th in the 8 & under.

Alyssa and Elizabeth went to Dressage Rally on a scramble team with Mckenzie and Emma from
Walnut Creek. Elizabeth had to substitute horses at the last minute as Smurf went lame. They got third
in Horse Management and 3rd overall.

Genevieve was Stable manager for the show jumping team which consisted of Ivy and Morgan, Natalie
from Covered Bridge and Paige from Long Run.
They came in 4th in their division.

We are very proud of all our members and hope you all had a good Rally experience!
The Rally Committee will be quiet for a while now!
